How to save videos on iPhone

Nothing to install and nothing to sign up for.

Copy the address of the page with the video (on a phone: Share, then Copy link) and paste it here.

Works with these sites

Safari has been able to save files since iOS 13, and Chrome for iPhone can too. You don't need an app.

1. Copy the video's link

  • In Safari: open the video, tap the Share button (the square with an arrow), then Copy.
  • In Chrome: tap the Share button in the address bar (or the ⋯ menu), then Copy link.
  • In a site's own app: tap Share under the video, then Copy link.

2. Paste it here and pick a size

Come back to PornClipDownloader, tap the box at the top of the page, tap Paste, then Find it. Each size button shows how big the file is. On a phone, 720p looks sharp and saves space.

3. Let Safari save it

Safari asks whether you want to download the file: tap Download. A small arrow appears in the address bar; tap it to watch progress. Chrome shows a bar at the bottom: tap Download, then Open in… or Files when it's done.

The file goes to the Files app, in the Downloads folder (on iCloud Drive or On My iPhone, depending on Settings → Safari → Downloads).

4. Move it to Photos (if you want)

Open Files, go to Downloads, tap the video, tap Share, then Save Video. It's now in Photos like any video you filmed.

If it doesn't download

  • The video plays instead of saving. Go back, press and hold the size button, and choose Download Linked File.
  • "Not enough storage". Free some space, or pick a smaller size: each button shows the file size.
  • It stops when the screen locks. Large files take a while on mobile data. Keep Safari open, or use Wi‑Fi.
  • Private Browsing works the same way; the file still goes to Files.
